Newage Agric Solutions Limited is a wholly-owned Ghanaian agribusiness founded in 2019 on a single conviction: that the fastest route to prosperity in Ghana runs through the farm gate. Newage is a total agribusiness solutions provider with expertise spanning input distribution, food production, agro-processing, and out-grower and in-grower programmes — with a deliberate focus on sustainable production and consumption. It is the local representative for global brands including Bayer, Syngenta, Lake Agriculture and OCP Africa.

What distinguishes Newage is not any single business line but the fact that it owns the whole chain. We import and distribute certified inputs; we finance and support smallholders to plant them; we buy back the harvest at guaranteed prices; we mill, process and brand the output; and we sell it to Ghanaian consumers under our own labels. Every link strengthens the next and the farmer is paid at every stage.

Newage is a vertically integrated, award-winning Ghanaian agribusiness with proven donor and multinational partnerships, an established consumer brand, and a de-risked out-grower model that has already reached tens of thousands of farmers. In just five years, more than 45,000 youth farmers across Ghana have been empowered through the company’s initiatives, with over 40% of them women.

In the next five years, Newage plans to expand rice processing capacity to increase local production and reduce dependence on imported rice; expand hybrid seed production to strengthen food security; and deepen digital and mechanised farming solutions to improve efficiency and productivity. The company also intends to draw more young people into agribusiness through training and job creation, and to expand beyond Ghana into new markets within West Africa.
